Three days have passed sense I last written and much has changed. The duchess is still as beautiful as ever but the kindness she gives to my servants and the common street merchants are discouraging, I don’t understand how she is not as eloquent as other duchess’s. I feel her eyes drifting to other things as we pass along the streets, and it shames me that she does not give the same look to me, I have a hunch as to what keeps her eyes astray but I dare not say. I feel I should not have to speak a word to her about this but if I do I will make sure she listens and obeys my wishes. She has allowed me to dress her in a more formal wear of clothing, what she wore on our first meeting was something a child would wear to church and no duchess of mine will be seen wearing mere church clothing for I am the Duke and appearances are everything. I have spoken to Fra Pandolf and he will be arriving tomorrow to start on my masterpiece. For the lower class who does not know Fra Pandolf and the portraits he does I pity you, his work is done in a way that when looked upon it’s as if the painting is alive. Maybe if you are lucky enough I will allow you the ability to view her for a short time on my Blog, because I am the creator I will choose when you can view her for she is mine.
